This feature allows to generate lists (reports), which contain information about selected 'arch' objects.
- select 'arch' objects in an active model using SketchUp's 'Select' tool
-
click
button or
choose 'List' command from Main Menu>>Plugins>>LSS Arch or
right-click at selected objects and choose 'List' command from SketchUp's context menu
- in opened 'List Arch Objects' dialog select list template from a drop-down list
- (optional) edit selected list template
- (optional) select 'nesting level'
- click 'Save' button to save generated list into an HTML file once you become happy with list preview
- specify desired file name and location within opened 'Save' dialog
Programm immediately openes generated list within default browser after its saving.
It is possible to select contents of generated list right inside browser window, then copy/paste into spreadsheet application.
Then edit table contents if necessary and copy/paste result table into LayOut.
Use 'nesting level' option greater, than 0 in case if 'arch' object(s) are placed inside other groups or components.
The most typical situation when nesting level greater, than 0 is needed, is a list of opening objects.
This type of 'arch' object may exist inside some other certain types of objects only
(it can not exist independently in an active model). So the best way to generate lists of openings
is to select 'host' objects (such as walls, slabs and/or slopes) in an active model, then open 'List Arch Objects' dialog and set
'nesting level' to 1.
Manage existing list templates using command buttons on the left of a drop-down list with template name:
- click [-] to erase currently selected list template
- click [+] to create new list template
- click [...] to edit currently selected list template
