Basic modes:
'Default' mode is for selecting existing wall objects. It is possible to reshape and re-adjust properties of selected wall.
'Draw Contour' mode allows to draw a contour of a wall vertex-by-vertex.
'Pick Face' mode is for picking any face, that represents a contour of a wall, instead of drawing a contour vertex-by-vertex.
'Pick Curve' mode is for picking any curve, that represents a contour of a wall, instead of drawing a contour vertex-by-vertex.
Wall tool's specific modes:
'Magnet Top' mode is for for sticking of the top side of selected wall to a 'Slope' object's bottom surface.
'Magnet Bottom' mode is for sticking of the bottom side of selected wall to a 'Slope' object's top surface.
It is possible to activate the above specific modes using wall tool's pop-up context menu:
- open tool dialog
- pick existing wall object in an active model
- right-click to display pop-up menu and choose 'Magnet top' or 'Magnet bottom'
- click at an existing 'Slope' object in an active model to magnet selected wall to it
Note that cursor shape changes from

or

to

or

when tool detects 'Slope' object under
cursor.
It is also possible to demagnetize magneted wall using pop-up context menu or even SketchUp's native context menu as well.
Since version 1.2.3 LSS Arch provides ability to align ends of a wall object to a face, which
is located right near object's end in an active model. Auto-alignment is enabled by default, but it can be switched off both globally
(using 'Settings' dialog) and for any existing wall object individually using 'Properties' dialog.
It is possible to learn more about auto-alignment from 'Auto Align Ends' chapter.
